RACE NUMBERS

From early May onwards all registered entrants will be sent their race number. You are required to wear this number visibly pinned to the front of your garment at all times while participating in your event. The number should not be pinned below the perforation, this section is removed at the finish line for results processing. Event chest numbers are colour coded in the following way:

  • Red - Marathon
  • Blue - Half Marathon
  • Green - 10km Run
  • Yellow - 4km Run

The chest number colors also correspond to race specfic km and directional markers along the course. Please note that all numerals are written in dark blue and the event color refers to the background paper.

Please check that your race number colour corresponds to the event you have entered. If it doesn't, go straight to the information desk at registration at least 30 minutes before your event start time and have your number re-issued, or contact our office prior to event day.

TIMING

This year the Festival will be using Blue Chip Timing to provide fast and accurate timing for the event. All participants will be required to pick up their timing band on race morning from 6.30AM till 7.30AM. All pre-registered entrants are required to present their race number to the Timing Band Marquee in order to their correct timing chip.
