Read Mark Davis' Sri Chinmoy Multi-Sport Report

It is said that history is written by the victors. In sport we tend to associate 'victory' with those who cross the finish line first. However in an endurance challenge such as the Sri Chinmoy Multi-Sport Classic recently staged in Jindabyne, victory comes to all who reach that finish line, no matter when...

Mark Davis crossed the finish line after almost all the other competitors, be they solo athletes or teams, had packed up and gone home.

Yet his story is as compelling as the winner's.   After all, he spent more time on the course than anyone else.

Read Mark's account of his race now in the Sri Chinmoy Multi-Sport Classic story archive.   We also welcome any other stories of the event, whether from solo athletes, team members, helpers or spectators.

The Sri Chinmoy Multi-Sport Classic is a 12-leg event comprising 3 legs each of swimming, paddling, mountain biking and running in, on and around Lake Jindabyne in southern NSW.

The race will next be staged on 18 March 2007.
