Congratulation to everyone to participates in the Sri Chinmoy Geelong Foreshore Run on the weekend. Results are now available.

Although the weather was very warm we were very please to see such a good turn out from runners and walkers alike.

Congratulation to Doc O'Connor who took out the 5km Run in a new course record time of 17.07 and to Felicity Dean to ran 22.17 in the women's event.

The 10km event proved to be an even greater challenge for a number of runners who wisely opted to turn their event into a 5km Run after the first lap. However the heat was no problem for Rebecca Tweed who took line honours for the women in the 10km event in a new course record time of 41.14.

Taking out the men's 10km event was Brett Coleman in a fine time of 37:40. Just behind Brett and just dipping under the 40 minute barrier, in a time of 39.57 was a fine performance by Trevor Kelly, who crossed the line first in the 50-59 age category, 3rd overall and in front of many men half his age. Well done Trevor.
