Sri Chinmoy Wynnum King's Birthday 2023 2.5km, 5km, 10km & 15km Runs

About the event

We now offer chip timing at our races which will increase accuracy of finish times and the speed up the upload of times and places to our website. This is a big step for us and is the result of having fewer volunteers but still wanting to give all our runners a nice, stress-free run (& us).

Race number pickup will be Sunday 1 October between 9am & 12pm at 87 Pembroke Rd, Coorparoo. You may pickup for your friends and family but PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR NUMBER ON RACE DAY. If you genuinely can't pick up on this day then pickup will be available at the race before 6.45. There will be a charge of $3 for replacement numbers.

All races start from Bayside Park, Manly at the corner of the Esplanade and Fairlead Crescent.

The course follows the beautiful pedestrian/bike paths of the Wynnum foreshore before venturing up into Elanora Park. It is fast and flat. There are aid stations equipped with water and electrolyte every 2.5km.

The kids 2.5km race is a 1.25km out & back, the 5km race follows an out and back route turning around at the 2.5km turnaround. The 10km race follows the same course, continuing on past the 2.5km turnaround, eventually turning around at the 5km aid station. The 15km race completes the 5km course then the 10km course, finishing through the finish chute.    

There will be a two-hour fifteen-minute cut-off for the 15km.

A full course briefing will be conducted at 6.50am on race day.
