Sri Chinmoy Minnippi Parklands Run
2.5km, 10km and 15km distances on a fast and flat course set amongst the beautiful scenery of Minnippi Parklands
About the event
All races start on the Bulimba Creek Bikeway about 100m west of the Stanton Road W car park at 7am. Please note this start time is one hour earlier than our races at other venues.
The course is a 2.5km clockwise circuit through the beautiful Minnippi Parklands, incorporating a 500m out-and-back section at the southern end of the lake.
All participants need to bring their own water bottle which can be refilled at the race. Tables will be provided to place your bottles on, though you are welcome to bring your own table or chair if you prefer.
We are holding the 2.5km distance event for children, although adults are welcome to run with your children. There will be awards for children U16 and U12 for this distance but all children will receive a certificate.. The 10km and 15km events will have gender-specific awards for the first three under 50, first three 50 – 59, first and second 60 -69, and first over 70.
We are unable to have our usual pancake breakfast so a special treat will be offered along with fruit.

Number collection is from 6.15am until 6:50am on the day of the race. A race breiefing will be held on the start line 5 minutes before the stat of the first race.
Convenient carparking is available in the carpark at the southern end of Stanton Rd W, Tingalpa
- Accurately measured traffic-free course with markers every km
- First aid services are provided by First Response
- Toilets available at the start/finish area
If you are unwell, have a cough or fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath, have been overseas in the past 14 days or been in close contact with a confirmed case, you must NOT attend the event. If this is the case please contact Amalendu on 0413884624 or [email protected] to arrange a credit for a future event.
All participants need to bring their own water bottle which can be filled at the race. Tables will be provided to place your bottles on, though you are welcome to bring your own table or chair if you prefer. Social distancing and hand hygiene will be encouraged by both signage and announcements. Each race distance will start separately and may be further divided by category to reduce crowding at the start line.
We will have a first aid person at the event to assist with managing hygiene and social distancing and we also ask everyone present to be responsible for maintaining social distancing.
Hand sanitiser will be present at a few locations but we encourage you to bring your own if concerned about hygiene.
